Changing the Color of the Comment Bubble in the Read It WordPress Theme

In the Read It WordPress theme the number of comments on any given post is displayed in a CSS generated speech bubble.

The color of this bubble is dynamically changed to go with your theme color scheme when editing through ThemeStarta, however you cannot directly set the comment bubble colors through the editor.

The reason for this is that Read It includes a special function that takes advantage of ThemeStarta’s hook system, and this function adds extra styling CSS into the theme every time you hit the “Update Theme With Current Settings” button.

In this case, the Read It theme takes the color you have selected for your:

  • Post Info background and applies it to the text color in the comment bubble
  • Post Info text color and applies it to the background color of the comment bubble.

In short, the comment bubble colors are the inverse of your Post Info colors.

If you would like to override these settings with your own color choice, follow these steps.
